We'll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.
What it’s Like
Our team builds solution bundles that combine 5G ANS connectivity, edge compute, and partner applications to power real-world intelligence for robots, sensors, and vision workloads. The remit spans strategy, product design, and GTM across T-Mobile for Business, Network Engineering, and the Data & AI organization. Focus areas include AI inferencing monetization, Edge Control solution design, and near-edge infrastructure planning. The environment operates like a startup inside the enterprise with fast cycles, clear outcomes, and executive visibility.
What You’ll Do
Scope and prioritize high-value use cases at the network edge, size TAM/SAM/SOM, and translate findings into crisp product bets and pricing recommendations. Support design and delivery of Summer pilots for Edge Control and Edge AI solutions with partners in computer vision and robotics, then quantify impact and codify repeatable offers. Produce executive-ready briefs, PRDs, and KPI dashboards that guide go-to-market and investment decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with TFB, Network, and Data & AI teams to validate performance claims and customer value.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze markets and customer signals to prioritize edge-ready AI inferencing and Edge Control use cases, building TAM/SAM/SOM and unit-economics models.
• Draft lightweight PRDs, user journeys, and acceptance criteria for pilots across video intelligence, industrial IoT, and robotics.
• Coordinate pilot execution with partners, capture results, and convert learnings into repeatable solution packages and GTM collateral.
• Build clear, executive-ready slides and dashboards that track KPIs, SLAs, and financial outcomes for Edge Control and related offers.
What It Takes
• Rising junior, senior, or graduate student in Business, CS, EE, Data/Analytics, or related field.
• Coursework or experience in AI/ML and cloud/edge computing; understanding of inference vs. training and basic product economics.
• Analytical fluency in Excel/Sheets and SQL or Python for sizing, cohorting, and KPI modeling.
• Familiarity with 5G concepts (UPF, network slicing) and containerized workloads is a plus.
• Strong writing and visualization skills to create PRDs and executive narratives; comfort working across product, engineering, and GTM teams.
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program and have at least one semester remaining following the internship
