The Data Analytics and AI Intern will work alongside cross-functional teams to support the development, deployment, and enhancement of data-driven solutions using analytics and artificial intelligence. This hands-on internship will expose the candidate to real-world projects involving data modeling, machine learning, business intelligence, and operational optimization.
This role is ideal for students who are passionate about solving business problems through data and emerging technologies like AI, ML, and predictive analytics.
YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
• Data Collection & Preparation
• Assist with data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation across multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Collaborate with data engineers to validate data integrity and availability for analytical use.
• Analytics & Visualization
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Build dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries.
• AI & Machine Learning Projects
• Support development of machine learning models for use cases such as predictive maintenance, quality forecasting, supply chain optimization, and anomaly detection.
• Assist in training, validating, and testing models using frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Business Collaboration & Insights
• Translate business questions into data problems and help derive actionable insights.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders using clear visuals and storytelling.
• Research & Innovation
• Stay updated on AI/ML trends, tools, and techniques and provide recommendations for adoption.
• Conduct literature reviews or benchmarking studies to support internal innovation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
• Student working towards a bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Standout Qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau); familiarity with ERP systems, AI, VBA, and/or Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
The following represents general working conditions for this office-based role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances.
• This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.
• Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
• Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
• Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range
$18.00 - $37.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
