About Us • We're building a next-generation AI enabled assistant for hardware designers — one that doesn't just understand design, but helps improve it. Our system blends machine learning, 3D geometry, physics simulation, and constraint reasoning to guide engineers through meaningful design exploration • Our solution includes a foundation model for geometry and physics. Our first models are shipped and we are quickly improving them and expanding our capabilities! • We are backed by Xora, Eclipse Ventures and Khosla Ventures Role Overview We’re looking for an AI engineer or applied researcher who can help us build a foundation model for physics. In this role, you’ll design, build, train and ship deep learning models that understand and accurately predict physical phenomena. We’ll Look For • A PhD in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics, mechanical engineering, applied math or machine learning • A track record of high impact publications in physics, engineering, and/or machine learning • 3+ Years experience applying deep learning to problems in physics and/or mechanical engineering • A solid understanding of high performance computing as it relates to computational physics in large 3D / computer vision applications • Strong software skills beyond prototyping (e.g., Python, PyTorch, JAX, GIT) • Ability to break down challenging problems at the confluence of physics and AI, solve them quickly, and support the solutions in production software • An entrepreneurial spirit Why This Role Is Different • You’ll have access to the best hardware to run large scale experiments on the world’s most advanced models • You’ll have a direct impact on ML/AI solutions that are central to our transformative technology. • You’ll strike a balance between doing cutting edge research and shipping your findings to a quickly improving product • You’ll be part of a a team of cross-functional experts in geometry, physics, materials science and computer science working on the most pressing problems in AI as they relate to physical understanding
