Description
This pre-law internship role within the legal department offers a dynamic opportunity for hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will support the various functions of the legal department focusing on AI improvement opportunities, including in the areas of corporate governance, securities reporting and disclosure, and public policy. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of legal processes within a large business organization and develop their legal and business acumen.
Role expectations
• Assist with legal programs and projects impacting day-to-day legal support and operations.
• Conduct research on artificial intelligence governance, helping to ensure that the organization's use of AI is compliant with current laws and regulations, and staying abreast of emerging legal trends in this dynamic area.
• Support the corporate securities team by conducting research on various legal issues.
• Support legal initiatives, promoting and protecting competitive advantages through corporate governance and integrity.
• Assist in knowledge management, service portfolio projects, and KPIs, as well as contributing to automation, data analytics, and AI functionalities within the legal department.
• Collaborate with various personnel across business functions globally, demonstrating superior communication and excellent organizational skills.

• A Bachelor's Degree or current enrollment in a law-related degree program.
