Full description
We're hiring AI/ML Engineers and Researchers for high-growth AI startups in the US.
We are recruiting for 70+ open AI/ML roles at funded companies, from seed-stage founding teams to Series D. Their investors include Sequoia, Lightspeed, Greylock and others.
Roles we're hiring for
• Applied AI / AI Engineer (LLMs, agents, evals)
• Machine Learning Engineer
• ML Infrastructure / MLOps (training, inference, GPU systems)
• Research Scientist / Research Engineer (post-training, RL, evals)
• Robotics ML / Perception Engineer
• Founding AI Engineer and Member of Technical Staff
Locations
San Francisco, South Bay Area, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Denver, Sacramento, Texas, Florida, Minnesota, plus remote roles across the US and Canada. Most roles are on-site or hybrid in SF and NYC.
Compensation
$150K to $300K base for most roles, going up to $400K+ for staff, research and ML infrastructure positions
Meaningful equity, up to 2% for founding roles
What we're looking for
• 2 to 8+ years building ML or AI systems (some roles open to strong new grads)
• Strong Python. PyTorch for ML and research roles
• You've shipped LLM-powered products or agents to production: tool calling, RAG, structured outputs, evals
• For infra and research roles: distributed training, inference optimization, CUDA/GPU work, post-training or RL
• You take ownership end to end and want to work at an early-stage, fast-moving company
• Nice to have: big-tech or top AI lab experience, founding or YC background, publications at NeurIPS, ICML or ICLR, a PhD for research roles
Work authorization: US citizens and green card holders preferred. Many roles accept visa transfers, and a few sponsor new visas.
