They’re building something genuinely new - an internal, consulting-style SEO/AEO function embedded directly within the business, working with some of the most recognisable high-growth brands in the US.
This is not another agency role.
This is an opportunity to sit at the intersection of:
• Enterprise SEO
• AI search / AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation)
• Product + GTM strategy
…and help define what modern search actually looks like.
đź’ˇ The Role
You’ll act as a strategic partner to enterprise clients, owning end-to-end search strategy and execution.
• Build and deliver SEO + AEO roadmaps from scratch
• Lead content audits, keyword strategy & optimisation workflows
• Partner with commercial teams on pre-sales strategy
• Work directly with senior stakeholders (up to CMO level)
• Help shape and scale a brand-new function internally
🔍 What They’re Looking For
• Strong hands-on enterprise SEO experience (not just advisory)
• Background in agency or high-growth in-house environments
• Proven ability to own strategy end-to-end
• Comfortable in client-facing, high-stakes environments
• Curious and proactive around AI search / AEO / GEO
🌍 Logistics
• US-based (remote) — preference for NYC or SF
• ~15% travel (mainly early-stage onboarding)
• Comp: $160k–$265k base + bonus + equity
