Machine Learning Engineer II Overview: We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Machine Learning Engineer to take on a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and deploying end-to-end machine learning solutions. In this role, you willleverageyourexpertisein machine learning, software engineering, and system architecture to independently drive the development of production-ready models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, from product and business units to data scientists, ensuring seamless integration of ML models into business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: Independently design, implement, deploy, andmaintainmachine learning models and components that solve real-world business problems in close collaboration with the Product, Business units, and Data Science teams. Write production-grade code for ML models as services and APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering and software development, to integrate machine learning models into production systems. Build andmaintainscalable data processing workflows and model deployment infrastructure. Debug and resolve model performance issues, track relevant metrics, and implement continuous improvements to ensure model accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with PM, Design, Product Engineering, and Data Science teams to ensure end-to-end business impact. Basic Qualifications: • Solid knowledge of ML algorithm foundations. • Strong engineering skills to developproductionML/AI systems. • Strong business sense to turn a business problem into the right ML/AI problem. • B.Sc. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. • At least 2 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments, withexpertisein a variety of ML techniques (e.g., deep learning, ensemble methods, NLP, reinforcement learning). • At least 2 years of experience &proficiencyin writing production-grade code and creating APIs using frameworks such as TensorFlow,PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. • At least 2 years ofexperience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Aleast2 years of hands-onexperience with building data processing and ML workflow pipelines using SQL, Spark, and Python scripting. • Atleast2 years of experience&proficientinutilizingdistributed computing frameworks and large-scale data processing tools. • Machine Learning Expertise: At least 2 years of experience with advanced machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and generative models. • Atleast2 years of experience withsoftware development best practices (CI/CD, containerization, version control). • Data Engineering: Atleast 2 years of experiencewith data engineering concepts, including building scalable ETL pipelines, working with big data tools (Spark, Kafka), and ensuring smooth data flow for ML workflows. Preferred Qualifications: • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the ability toleveragethem for scalable and efficient ML solutions.Expertisein scaling ML models in production, with a focus on model efficiency, deployment, and monitoring in cloud-based systems. Annual Salary $105,000.00 - $215,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
