The IMT SC Large Program AI and Data Platform Director is a senior leadership role within the IMT SC organization, responsible for the strategic development, engineering, and operationalization of Transcend focused Data and AI solutions.
This position serves as a crucial bridge between the technology team, business partners in IMSC Transcend Digital Teams, and the enterprise JJT AI and Data Leader and their teams. The Director drives Technical AI innovation, ensures alignment with business objectives, and orchestrates the successful delivery of AI initiatives that create measurable business value by supporting the IMSC business AI leader. This role also ensures technical strategy and integration of Transcend Data Platform with broader IMSC Data Platforms. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across the organization.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Transcend Leader, their team, and business partners to develop, refine, and execute an AI and Data vision and strategy that aligns with overall IMSC objectives.
• Lead the design, engineering, and operationalization of advanced AI products and solutions, ensuring scalable and seamless integration across the organization.
• Partner with IMT SC and Transcend Leaders to align AI Capabilities with AI Ready Data maturity to drive deterministic outcome of AI Solutions
• Drive SAP Data Platforms strategy and overall integration in the IMSC Data Ecosystem
• Collaborate with Enterprise AI Technology Teams to drive capability requirements, capability consumption and drive roadmaps, maturity and benchmarking.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration by bridging departmental gaps, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment of Transcend AI and Data initiatives with diverse business stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, research institutes.
• Implement and evolve AI governance practices and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA), and chairing or supporting the AI governance board as needed.
• Be an active partner and contributor to IM Transcend program.
• Manage project portfolios and budgets, oversee resource allocation, and establish transparent evaluation and management practices to track business value and ROI.
• Drive AI literacy and change management programs across the Transcend, supporting business transformation and workforce enablement.
• Lead the decision-making process for AI architecture for Transcend (in partnership with IM Architecht), platform selection, and build/buy/blend strategies in collaboration with the business AI Leader.
• Support the development and implementation of responsible AI practices, ensuring data privacy, model explainability, fairness, and ethical use of AI technologies.
• Mentor and lead multidisciplinary AI and technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

• Deep understanding of SDLC for SAP Implementation, industry domain, and the transformative potential of AI for business models, workflows, operations and SDLC.
• Strong business and financial acumen; capable of aligning AI initiatives with strategic goals and market dynamics.
• Proven expertise in AI-driven business transformation, including decision intelligence, agentic AI, and other transformative approaches.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to AI and data protection.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional alignment and minimize conflicting implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$164,000.00 - $282,900.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
