About the Role Nasdaq Private Market seeks an analyst-level private market sales and trading professional with a core skillset in AI tooling and functionality to join the company’s Capital Solutions team in New York. The Capital Solutions team is involved in all aspects of the company’s high-touch trading, fund creation, and capital introduction activities, including private offerings, secondary transactions, primary and secondary raises, M&A, and other advisory services for institutional investors, accredited individual investors, broker-dealers, banks, and private companies. This professional will play a lead role in utilizing frontier models and AI tooling to automate day-to-day workflows and create operating leverage with the sales organization. This candidate will work with management to rethink processes and design workflows. Traditional responsibilities also include transaction execution, market research and commentary on individual transactions and companies, and day-to-day assistance to senior management and clients. Responsibilities • Leverage AI toolsets to redesign operational and go to market processes within Capital Solutions • Act as a sales engineer to support overall revenue growth and goals for the team • Help architect and turn fragmented data into actionable insights via AI sales tools for process improvement • Support Capital Solutions deals (trading and SPVs) — transaction tracking, documentation, closing workflows • Monitor inbound customer inquiries — triage and route inquiries • Own CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting, and dashboards • Gather market intelligence and complete ad hoc data analysis requests for support coverage • Track transfer notice statuses, ROFR timelines, and other deal-specific deadlines • Draft and send templated outreach or status updates on behalf of team • Own process improvement and workflow automation across the team • Leverage AI tools to accelerate and automate reporting, document preparation, and other repeatable tasks • Develop deep understanding of proprietary NPM technology and data set • Oversee and manage several concurrent projects and work effectively as part of a team and individually • Help prepare sophisticated and actionable client presentations, marketing literature, and data when requested Requirements & Qualifications • Demonstrable experience using AI toolsets (Claude preferred) in an academic and professional capacity to create new processes and workflows • Closely tracks the latest frontier models and their capabilities • Passionate about the AI super cycle and its role in reshaping the workplace • 1-3 years of experience at a financial institution in a front office capacity • Aspiration to grow into a sales production capacity • Experience with Salesforce and working knowledge of Bloomberg, Apollo, and Pitchbook a plus • Strong communication skills and socials skills to help build relationships across a variety of groups and personas • Undergraduate degree required • Ability to efficiently manage multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with Bloomberg and other banking databases • Strong work ethic and superior attention to detail • Series 63 and 7 licensed
