Job Summary
The Manager of Business Analytics & AI Reporting is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and delivering modern, AI‑enabled reporting and analytical solutions across Specialty Mail Operations. This role is designed for a versatile professional capable of independently owning the full analytics lifecycle—from SQL‑based data validation and semantic modeling through executive‑ready dashboards and AI‑assisted insight delivery.
This position plays a critical role in advancing reporting from static dashboards to continuous, automated, and well-governed insight delivery. It combines strong analytical judgment with emerging AI capabilities to enable timely, trusted decision-making within a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Dashboard Development
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau
• Build and manage Power BI semantic models optimized for both human and AI consumption
• Apply DAX best practices, data modeling standards, and documentation practices
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions
• Own SQL‑based analysis and data validation as the foundation for all reporting, semantic models, and AI‑assisted insight
AI-Enabled Analytics & Design
• Design AI-ready semantic models with business-friendly naming, descriptions, and classifications
• Define trusted measures, verified answers, and visibility rules to support Copilot usage
• Leverage Power BI Copilot and Copilot Studio to create AI-assisted insights and guided analytics experiences
• Design effective prompts and conversational analytics experiences aligned to business questions
• Validate and refine AI-generated insights, understanding where outputs are reliable versus exploratory
Automation & Insight Orchestration
• Build analytics automation and workflows using Power Automate
• Orchestrate AI-enabled workflows that trigger insights, summaries, or alerts based on data changes
• Design human-in-the-loop processes for AI-assisted decision support
• Enable proactive insight delivery rather than passive dashboard consumption
Governance, Security & Compliance
• Ensure analytics solutions adhere to enterprise governance, data quality, and compliance standards
• Design reporting and AI experiences that respect row-level security, object-level security, and sensitivity labels
• Understand how AI inherits security context and validate outputs against regulated data constraints
• Apply responsible AI practices, including awareness of bias, hallucinations, and validation requirements
Narrative & Insight Communication
• Translate analytical and AI-generated outputs into clear business narratives
• Explain the “why” behind trends, patterns, and AI-identified insights
• Frame insights appropriately for executive and operational audiences
• Design AI-generated summaries that align with established business language and definitions
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of advanced Power BI expertise, including ownership of semantic models, complex DAX, and executive‑ready dashboards; sets quality standards and influences best practices
• 3+ years of strong command of SQL, independently performing analysis, validation, and issue resolution across multiple data sources with sound analytical judgment
• 5+ years of demonstrated ability to exercise analytical judgment when validating dashboards, datasets, and AI‑generated outputs—knowing when results are decision‑ready versus investigatory
• 5+ years of demonstrated depth in analytics, business intelligence, and reporting, delivering impactful dashboard solutions that support and solve complex business problems with limited guidance
• 2+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise dashboards and visual analytics using Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience applying AI‑enabled reporting capabilities (e.g., Copilot, Copilot Studio) to real production reporting or insight workflows, with demonstrated understanding of limitations and validation requirements highly desired
• Experience in healthcare, PBM, or other regulated data environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Apps, Oracle and Azure-based analytics platforms
• Understanding of business process improvement, project management and quality practices
• Demonstrated proficiency in driving analytics automation, leveraging Power Automate to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency of reporting solutions
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, for large‑scale analytical querying, data validation, or integration with enterprise BI and reporting solutions
Education
• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science or equivalent experience required
