Snapshot
Artificial Intelligence could be one of humanity’s most useful inventions. At DeepMind, we’re a team of scientists, engineers, machine learning experts and more, working together to advance the state of the art in artificial intelligence. We use our technologies for widespread public benefit and scientific discovery, and collaborate with others on critical challenges, ensuring safety and ethics are the highest priority.
The Role
As a product manager at Google DeepMind you will be responsible for shipping cutting edge AI research breakthroughs into Google’s AI models and products. As a PM on Frontier AI within GDM you will be working with brilliant AI researchers who are focused on making the biggest advances across new model architectures, AGI and advanced applications like Agents and Robotics. As the PM for Information Quality within Frontier AI, your job will be to understand the implications of generative AI on the broader societal information ecosystem. You will tackle critical challenges surrounding misinformation, advance the detection and provenance of genAI content, and analyze the shifting economics of information in a society augmented by AI. In addition to shipping robust safety and information integrity advances into our existing models, you will work closely with researchers to incubate new agentic tools designed to promote information literacy and help users navigate an increasingly complex digital world.
Key responsibilities:
Understand the societal impact of new generative models and drive research breakthroughs in information quality, provenance, and trust.
Build collaborations with product teams across Google (e.g., Search, YouTube, News) and model development teams to ship cutting-edge genAI detection and misinformation mitigation technologies.
Work with researchers to envision, develop, and ship new agentic tools aimed at enhancing human information literacy and critical understanding of AI-generated content.
Investigate and model the economics of information to ensure sustainable, high-quality knowledge creation and dissemination in an AI-abundant future.
Evangelize research in AI safety and information integrity, making technical breakthroughs as self-serve and platformized as possible to scale across Google products.
Sometimes, incubate entirely new products or frameworks focused on societal resilience and trust.
