We want a can-do builder, fast learner, and strong designer with strong Python, SQL, and Snowflake skills. Essential Job Functions: • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify healthcare challenges and opportunities where AI/ML can make a significant impact. • Develop and implement AI/ML algorithms and models using existing Epic-built and in-house developed technologies. • Extract, transform, and preprocess healthcare data to build robust and accurate AI/ML models. • Collaborate with data scientists and clinicians to validate and optimize AI/ML models based on real-world healthcare data. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and privacy standards related to healthcare data and AI/ML algorithms. • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and healthcare domain knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement. • Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, SKILLS, and Abilities: • Bachelors in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred. • •3+ years background in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling. • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in AI/ML. • Experience in handling and analyzing healthcare data, including electronic health records (EHR), medical imaging, or genomic data. • Experience working with data science teams in refining and optimizing data science and machine learning models and algorithms. • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy standards, such as HIPAA and GDPR. • Exposure to hybrid deployments: Cloud and On-Premises. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams. Education Bachelor's Degree (Required) Pay Range $99,840.00-$164,736.00 Salary At Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions.
