Knowledge & Innovation Program Manager (AI & Legal Technology)

Position Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a Knowledge & Innovation Program Manager to help drive the firm's strategic use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the delivery of legal services. This highly visible role sits at the intersection of legal practice, technology, and business operations, leading initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance client value, and modernize legal workflows through AI-powered solutions.
The ideal candidate combines experience in legal operations, innovation, program management, and emerging technologies with the ability to collaborate across attorneys, business professionals, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Innovation
• Partner with attorneys and business leaders to identify opportunities to incorporate AI into legal service delivery.
• Translate legal and business needs into AI-enabled solutions and implementation plans.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs.
• Design scalable AI workflows while ensuring compliance with governance, security, and responsible AI standards.
• Collaborate with legal technology, data, eDiscovery, and innovation teams to deploy new solutions.
Program & Project Management
• Manage AI initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and success metrics.
• Monitor adoption, ROI, efficiency gains, and quality improvements.
• Maintain reporting dashboards and communicate progress to leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across legal, pricing, technology, and operations.
Client Strategy & Engagement
• Support client teams in leveraging AI as a strategic differentiator.
• Prepare client presentations, reports, and value demonstrations.
• Participate in client discussions regarding AI capabilities and legal service innovation.
• Respond to client questionnaires related to AI, technology, and innovation initiatives.
Change Management & Adoption
• Partner with Learning & Development to increase AI literacy across the firm.
• Develop training and adoption programs that encourage effective use of AI tools.
• Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in legal operations, innovation, consulting, technology program management, or a related field.
• Experience managing AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
• Experience within a law firm or professional services organization.
• JD, MBA, or graduate degree in technology, data, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with:
• Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Workflow automation platforms

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps), SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
