Our client is a global technology and consulting services leader building out their AI for Retail practice in North America. They are seeking a Managing Partner to own and drive AI and data sales across the Retail and CPG sector — a senior commercial leadership role at the intersection of cutting-edge AI capability and deep retail industry expertise. This is one of the most strategically important hires in the practice. The right person brings a proven track record selling and delivering AI-led transformation to major North American retailers and CPG companies, a strong CXO network, and the credibility to shape multi-million dollar deals from first conversation through to close. What You'll Do Own AI and data sales revenue across a Retail and CPG account portfolio in the US and Canada. Drive the full sales lifecycle — prospecting, solution shaping, proposal development, executive presentations, negotiation, and deal closure. Build and maintain senior relationships with CIO, CDO, CMO, and CEO-level stakeholders across major retail and CPG clients. Shape and position GenAI, Agentic AI, and AI-led transformation solutions tailored to retail business outcomes. Collaborate with delivery and practice leadership to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction. Represent the firm at industry events and forums, building market presence and thought leadership in AI for Retail. Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with clinical precision on deal progression and forecasting. What We're Looking For 20+ years of experience in AI, data, or technology services sales with a strong and demonstrable focus on the Retail and CPG sector in the US. Hands-on fluency with GenAI, Agentic AI, AIOps, and modern AI solution stacks — you must be able to hold a credible technical conversation, not just a commercial one. Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and closing large-scale deals. Deep existing network within the North American Retail and CPG industry at CXO level. MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience from a recognised consulting or SI firm (Big 4, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant or equivalent)(REQUIRED). Ability and willingness to travel across the US and Canada as business requires. Compensation: $195,000 – $253,000 base, commensurate with experience. Bonus eligible. Location: Remote — anywhere in the United States. Travel required nationally.
