A Few Of Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Research the state-of-the-art in embodiment transfer, scene understanding (with large multi-model models), and 3D semantic mapping. • Evaluate this research on a realistic, industrial Bosch use case. • Develop improvements to make these techniques practical. • Report experimental results and prepare a draft to a high-quality conference. Your profile Basic Qualifications • Ph.D. or Masters student in Computer Science, Robotics or related fields. (Must be a current student.) • Experience using large generative multi-modal models, VLAs, VLMs, or LLMs. • Experience implementing algorithms on robotic arms, humanoids, or quadrupeds. • Proficient in Python and C++, with experience using Ubuntu and ROS2. • Minimum GPA of 3.0. Preferred Qualifications • Experience applying large generative multi-modal models, VLAs, VLMs, or LLMs to robotics problems. • Publication record in top venues, such as CVPR, ICRA and IROS. • Focus on embodiment transfer, learning from demonstration, and/or semantic scene understanding. • Able to work independently, has strong research and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
