Why this role is remarkable
• Take a high-impact, hands-on seat building the AI foundation of a fintech platform rather than managing or conducting research.
• Join a company at a major inflection point, moving from a niche tool to a comprehensive financial operating system for service businesses.
• Work directly with the founding team to influence company-wide architectural decisions and raise the AI literacy of the entire organization.
What You Will Do

• Own the internal AI tool stack, including model selection, vendor evaluation, and the development of reusable MCP integrations.
• Serve as the technical authority on AI security, managing prompt injection defense and access controls for complex agentic systems.
The ideal candidate
• Has 6+ years of experience in bizops, engineering, or data with a proven track record of shipping production-grade AI systems.
• Demonstrates deep expertise in prompt engineering, context engineering, and the architectural trade-offs between RAG, fine-tuning, and long context.
• Possesses hands-on experience building MCP servers and integrating them into agent workflows to solve complex business logic problems.
Who are Jack & Jill?
Ok, I'll go first. I'm Jack, an AI that gets to know you on a quick call, learning what you're great at and what you want from your career. Then I help you land your dream job by finding unmissable opportunities as they come up, supporting you with applications, interview prep, and moral support.
And I'm Jill, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Jack's network, making an introduction when I spot an excellent candidate.
How does this work?
• Jack's an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. He works for you.
• Jill is the AI recruiter working for the company. She recruits from Jack's network.
• If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Jack will send you excellent alternatives.
