We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Integrator to support the 439th Civil Engineering Squadron at Westover Air Reserve Base under a GSA MAS contract. This is a mission-critical role. You will be the sole AI practitioner embedded directly with the Air Force's Base Civil Engineering team, designing and deploying AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and readiness - with real impact on how the base operates every day.
We are currently NOT offering Sponsorship. For example, no H-1B, O-1, E-3, EAD, TN or any related sponsorships.
The Artificial Intelligence Integrator will have the following responsibilities:
• Develop and deploy a pilot NLP/ML model to analyze historical contract packages (SMT packages), identify revision patterns, and flag recurring ambiguities
• Build ETL pipelines to ingest and process contract documents from structured and unstructured sources
• Deliver actionable insights that reduce contract review time and improve standardization
• Integrate sensor and smart meter data feeds to build a baseline energy consumption model
• Develop AI-driven monitoring and optimization capabilities across base facilities
• Pilot energy efficiency improvements in selected buildings with measurable outcomes
• Continue development of an existing Beta AI platform that predicts snowfall recovery timelines and optimizes resource allocation
• Integrate official weather forecast data, equipment status, and personnel availability into a live operational dashboard
• Transition the platform from Beta toward initial operational capability
• Stand up and manage a self-contained, air-gapped development, test, and production environment using your own hardware
• Conduct monthly training sessions for Air Force personnel on AI tools and applications
• Author technical documentation, user manuals, and operational guides for non-technical stakeholders
• Submit monthly Project Status Reports (PSRs) to the COR and Government Program Manager
• Ensure all work complies with CUI handling requirements, NIST SP 800-171, ISO 27001, and DoD AI Ethical Principles
• Maintain system performance through patching, model retraining, bug fixes, and performance monitoring
