About Us
ContentsOps is an early-stage software company building a modern field service management platform for contents restoration and service businesses. Our product spans a web dashboard, admin tools, and a mobile app used by field technicians in the real world. We're small, fast-moving, and shipping directly to paying customers.
The Role
We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern who is excited about building real products with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and similar agents. You'll work in-person, side-by-side with the founder and directly with customers to ship features, fix bugs, and help take the product from functional MVP to production-scale platform.
This isn't a "watch and learn" internship. You'll be writing and shipping code that real businesses depend on every day — with AI tools as your force multiplier. Being in the room matters: fast feedback loops, whiteboard sessions, and direct mentorship from day one.
What You'll Do
• Build and ship features across our web app, admin dashboard, and React Native mobile app
• Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to accelerate development — you'll learn how to get the most out of them
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the owner on product direction, priorities, and technical decisions
• Join customer calls and occasional on-site visits with businesses across the country to understand pain points firsthand
• Help us harden the platform: testing, performance, reliability, and scale
• Contribute to a real production stack: TypeScript, React, React Native/Expo, Supabase, Postgres, Tailwind
Who You Are
• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or self-taught with a strong portfolio
• Able to commute to our office in Albuquerque, NM for the duration of the internship
• Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks (React a big plus)
• Genuinely curious about AI-assisted coding workflows — bonus if you've already used Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar
• Self-directed, resourceful, and excited to own problems end-to-end
• Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be talking to customers
• Bonus: experience with React Native, Supabase/Postgres, or mobile development
What You'll Get
• Real ownership. Your code ships to production and gets used by real businesses.
• Direct, in-person mentorship from the founder — no layers, no busywork, no Slack-only relationships
• Hands-on experience with the cutting edge of AI-assisted engineering — a skill set that will define the next decade of software
• A seat at the table for product, design, and customer conversations
• Competitive hourly pay
• Potential to convert to a full-time role after the internship based on performance
How to Apply
Send us:
• A short note about why this role interests you
• Your resume or LinkedIn
• A GitHub link, portfolio, or a project you're proud of (any form — side project, class project, something you shipped)
• Bonus: tell us about a time you used an AI tool to build something
We read every application and respond quickly.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
