Purpose
The Associate Director, AI Next Frontier will serve as a key leader in shaping, building, and scaling next-generation AI capabilities across Marketing, Patient, and Commercial Operations within the US Pharmaceutical organization. This role is focused on reimagining commercial engagement through Generative AI and Agentic AI — enabling intelligent, personalized, and scalable experiences with HCPs, patients, payers, and internal stakeholders.
The Associate Director will contribute to the AI Next Frontier roadmap, lead high-impact AI product initiatives across all three pillars, and drive the development and deployment of AI-powered solutions that unlock growth, efficiency, and innovation across the commercial enterprise.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Cross-Pillar Leadership & Execution
• Lead end-to-end AI product development across all three pillars, including ideation, design, development, deployment, and performance measurement.
• Translate business needs from Marketing, Patient, and Commercial Operations stakeholders into scalable AI-driven solutions and product opportunities.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Patient Services, Commercial Operations, and Medical Affairs.
• Partner with data science, engineering, and design teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions integrated into the Engagement.AI ecosystem.
• Support evaluation and management of external AI vendors, platforms, and strategic partnerships across all three pillars.
• Establish and contribute to best practices for AI product development, experimentation, and scaling across the commercial organization.
• Ensure all AI initiatives align with regulatory, privacy, ethical, and medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) standards.
• Champion adoption of AI capabilities across Marketing, Patient, and Commercial Operations teams, fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education
• PhD preferred, Master’s degree required.
• Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field preferred.
Experience & Skills
• 7+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, marketing technology, commercial analytics, or advanced analytics.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI-driven transformation initiatives across one or more of the following: marketing, patient services, or commercial operations.
• Strong expertise in modern AI technologies including Generative AI (LLMs), Agentic AI systems, NLP, and machine learning.
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and/or AI agents.
• Ability to translate complex business needs across marketing, patient, and commercial operations domains into AI product strategies and scalable solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across business and technical domains.
• Experience evaluating or working with external AI vendors and enterprise AI platforms.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills across both technical and executive audiences.
• Pharma, healthcare, or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce), omnichannel marketing ecosystems, and patient hub operations is a plus.
Location
• Based in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA with required travel between both locations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000 to $235,750 USD.
