About the role: "You know that the model isn't the problem. The Tuesday 10am team meeting is the problem." Most AI rollouts don't fail at the model layer. They fail because the people who were supposed to use the thing didn't change how they worked. You're a hybrid: part instructional designer, part change consultant, part workflow engineer. You make adoption the thing the client brags about. WORKFORCES WE CHANGE Bankers · advisors · ops · clinicians · researchers · plant ops · field crews. CADENCE Part-time · 6–12 weeks per engagement · Skills: change, L&D, comms. Adoption is where most AI programs actually live or die. Responsibilities Design role-specific training programs that go beyond "here's a prompt template" Map current workflow, future workflow, and the messy transition between them Build prompt libraries, playbooks, and the change-comms exec teams need Set up adoption tracking instrumentation Coach the team through the first 60 days post-launch Surface field stories worth publishing back to the Brand & Content Strategist Skills Change Management L&D Workflow Design Prompt Libraries Executive Comms Adoption Tracking Workshop Facilitation Org Design Coaching Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement (ADKAR) Prosci Requirements Background in change management, L&D, or org design Hands-on AI fluency — daily user of frontier model tools Demonstrated experience writing comms an executive will actually send Comfortable embedded in client workflows for 6–12 weeks Strong facilitation skills (workshops, training sessions, office hours) US/EU overlapping hours Additional: ADKAR or Prosci certification Domain depth in healthcare, financial services, or large-team ops Prior instructional design experience for technical content Experience with adoption analytics tools (Pendo, Mixpanel, custom)
