We are seeking a Division Vice President, AI Solutions & Foundation Models, who will serve as the leader for the fastest-growing part of TaskUs. This is a critical, executive-level leadership role responsible for owning the end-to-end success of the division - from GTM strategy and sales growth to operational excellence and cutting-edge research in both Generative and Embodied AI. The successful candidate will be a proven entrepreneur-operator, adept at both growing and running a high-stakes, specialized business within the evolving AI ecosystem. You will be the internal and external face and voice of TaskUs's commitment to making AI models-from Large Language Models (LLMs) to Autonomous Robotics-helpful, honest, and reliable. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business & Financial Leadership • Own P&L and Growth: Drive the AI Solutions business to achieve aggressive revenue targets in new incremental bookings in 2026. • GTM and Sales: Define and execute the global GTM strategy. Lead efforts to expand the portfolio with existing clients and secure new foundational model builders (text and multimodal), Mag7, and Fortune 500 accounts. • Executive Relationships: Leverage existing relationships with key decision-makers in top-buying companies (including Robotics and Autonomous Systems firms) to open doors and secure major commitments. 2. Specialized Operations & Delivery • Operational Vision: Set the strategic vision for a complex hybrid operating model that combines TaskUs FTEs and freelance "Taskers" across generalist and specialist domains, including math PhDs, linguists, and computer vision specialists. • Multimodal Data Capture: Develop and scale specialized programs for large-scale egocentric video collection, 3D spatial annotation, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) workflows for physical AI. • Leadership and Management: Lead and scale the core division teams, including Specialized Operations and Data Quality. Drive hiring and development to build out the team in H1 2026. • Client Partnership: Act as the ultimate operational point of contact and escalation for strategic clients, ensuring operational delivery exceeds expectations and drives strong, profitable relationships. 3. Thought Leadership & Innovation • Research & Standards: Oversee the Research function to publish novel research in AI data quality and safety. Co-create industry standards for both LLM RLHF and Robotics imitation learning with clients. • Market Presence: Be the external face of AI Solutions for TaskUs. Speak at industry events and conferences to influence executive-level decisions and enhance mindshare. • Analyst Relations: Drive efforts to ensure TaskUs is recognized as a leader in analyst reports. Secure client commitment for named case studies and testimonials. 4. Technical Strategy & Systems • Technology Ownership: Own the ML Engineering/MLOps function, ensuring the necessary tools and infrastructure are in place for safe, high-quality, and efficient multimodal data programs, including video ingestion and frame-accurate labeling. • Systems Thinking: Apply systems thinking to relentlessly seek cross-cutting process and technological enhancements to boost program performance and client success globally. Required Qualifications: • Experience: 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise client management, operations (in a leadership role), or top-tier consulting, with a focus on data quality, advanced AI services, or autonomous systems development. • Domain Expertise (The Maven): Deep domain knowledge of Generative AI and Embodied AI data quality techniques, including hands-on experience running, buying, or selling data services for LLMs and Multimodal/Robotics Foundation Models (e.g., egocentric video, 3D annotation). Must be at a conference keynote speaker level of expertise. • Operational Acumen (The Operator): Proven track record of building and running complex data programs (e.g., imitation learning pipelines, RLHF) and expertise in enabling hybrid operating models with full-time and crowd/freelance contributors. • Commercial Acumen (The Seller): Demonstrable success in growing a business in the AI/Tech space, with a history of hitting aggressive bookings targets specifically with foundational model builders and emerging Robotics/Autonomous Systems leaders. • Technical Visionary: Ability to direct the strategy for MLOps and data orchestration tools, navigating the infrastructure requirements for both massive-scale text processing and high-bandwidth video ingestion. • Leadership (The Leader): High-EQ leader, operator, and negotiator with a proven ability to influence in a matrixed organization and rally global teams without direct line management.
