Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Applied AI Analyst to support a strategic initiative aimed at transforming financial workflow across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing AI-driven solutions that automate workflows, modernize legacy processes, and unlock new analytical and decision‑support capabilities. The Lead Applied AI Analyst will partner closely with the Director of Program Delivery, business teams across Finance and related functions, and technical delivery teams to embed AI into daily operations and deliver measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: AI Solution Design & Development • Lead the design and development of AI capabilities, including NLP, GenAI, predictive modeling, and agent-based automation. • Build AI-driven workflows that simplify multi-step business processes and reduce manual effort. Business Problem Solving & Use Case Development • Translate business problems into clear technical approaches, including data needs, and workflow design. • Validate assumptions, iterate quickly, and refine solutions based on stakeholder feedback. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement • Work closely with global Finance teams, analysts, and engineering partners to ensure solutions align with program objectives. • Communicate complex AI concepts in clear business terms for senior leaders and operational teams. • Support change management and user adoption by helping stakeholders understand how AI solutions improve their workflows. Program Delivery & Governance • Ensure all AI solutions align with enterprise standards for responsible AI. • Contribute to program workstream planning, milestone delivery, and risk mitigation. Qualifications: Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field. • Advanced degree or certifications in AI/ML, Applied Data Science, or Analytics preferred. Experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience in applied AI, ML engineering, or advanced analytics. • Demonstrated experience building GenAI, LLM, RAG, NLP, or agent-based AI solutions. • Strong background in Finance-related datasets and workflows. Experience delivering AI capabilities as part of large-scale transformation or modernization programs. • Prior experience working with global or distributed teams. Technical Skills • Strong Python skills and experience developing end-to-end AI/ML pipelines. • Expertise with LLMs, GenAI frameworks, NLP techniques, and agentic AI. • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, cloud platforms). • Strong prompt engineering and model-tuning fundamentals. Business & Soft Skills • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into concrete AI solutions. • Deep curiosity and willingness to experiment, iterate, and learn. • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with senior Finance stakeholders. • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 107,700 - 179,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
