Job Title: Generative AI Solution Architect Job Location: NY/NJ Role Overview The Solution Architect is responsible for planning, evaluating, recommending, and designing end-to-end architectural solutions that enable the reimagination of enterprise processes using AI, generative AI, and agentic systems. This role partners closely with business leaders, product managers, forward deployed engineers, and platform teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, technology strategy, risk posture, and business outcomes. The architect will operate across the full lifecycle-from early discovery and conceptual design through build, deployment, and scale-providing architectural leadership for complex, AI-enabled transformations. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Solution Design Plans, evaluates, recommends, and designs end-to-end solution architectures to support AI- and agentic-enabled process reimagination initiatives Ensures architectural designs align with enterprise architecture standards, security, resiliency, data governance, and compliance requirements Defines logical and physical architectures across application, data, integration, AI/ML, and infrastructure layers Evaluates and selects appropriate technologies, patterns, and platforms for AI and agentic solutions Discovery & Business Alignment Partners with business, operations, and product teams to understand current-stateprocesses, future-state vision, and business objectives Translates business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and extensible architectural designs Identifies architectural trade-offs and provides clear recommendations aligned to business value and risk tolerance AI & Agentic Enablement Designs architectures that support LLM-powered applications, agentic workflows, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls Ensures responsible AI principles are embedded into solution designs, includingexplain ability, auditability, and model governance Collaborates with engineering teams to guide implementation of AI components within enterprise constraints Governance & Delivery Support Provides architectural oversight throughout delivery, ensuring solutions are built according to design intent Participates in architecture reviews, design forums, and governance processes Identifies and mitigates architectural risks, technical debt, and scalability concernsearly in the lifecycle Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Solution Architect designing complex, enterprise-scale systems Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, data rchitecture, and cloud-native design Experience supporting solutions that incorporate AI/ML, analytics, or automation technologies Ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders Experience working within enterprise architecture standards and governance models Preferred Qualifications Experience designing AI, generative AI, or agentic system architectures Familiarity with LLM platforms, orchestration frameworks, APIs, and data pipelines Experience in regulated or highly controlled environments (e.g., financial services) Exposure to process transformation, digital modernization, or operational reengineering efforts Ability to partner effectively with engineering, risk, security, and platform teams Life at Capgemini Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
