Job Overview: The Data & AI Value and Benefits Lead is responsible for the value, financial, and outcome backbone of the Data & AI Delivery Office.    This role ensures that Data and AI initiatives have clear business cases, budget and capacity visibility, and transparent tracking of outcomes, and that executive decision-makers receive clear, outcome-focused materials.    The role does not own delivery execution and does not have veto authority on scale decisions but provides the financial and outcome inputs that inform those decisions.  Responsibilities: Value-Backed Data & AI Initiatives • Develop and maintain standardized business case templates for Data & AI initiatives • Review and validate value assumptions in partnership with Finance and initiative owners • Track expected versus realized outcomes for scaled initiatives Financial Control of the Data & AI Portfolio • Maintain an integrated Data & AI budget view, including actuals, forecasts, and variances • Partner with Finance to track performance against approved budgets • Surface budget risks, tradeoffs, and investment implications to Delivery Office and CDAO leadership Single Source of Financial & Value Truth • Maintain value, cost, and dependency inputs for the Data & AI portfolio source-of-truth • Provide standardized financial and value inputs to Enterprise PMO (EPMO) for monthly executive reporting • Align Finance, AI Hub, and Delivery Office stakeholders on consistent value definitions and measures Executive-Ready Data & AI Narrative • Develop value, budget, and outcome content for executive leadership and Board-level materials • Track decisions and follow-ups from AI Strategy Executive Forums and Steering Committees • Ensure executive materials clearly connect investment decisions to outcomes achieved Outcome-Driven Vendor Performance • Govern delivery-related vendor statements of work (SOWs) from a value and outcomes perspective • Track vendor spend against expected benefits and delivery milestones • Surface vendor performance risks to Delivery Office leadership Early Visibility to Portfolio Risks • Identify cross-organizational risks related to funding, capacity, and data readiness • Escalate risks with clear impact statements and actionable resolution options • Track mitigation and resolution of material risks impacting value or delivery Stronger Value Discipline Across Teams • Build reusable templates for business cases, value tracking, and reporting • Support capability development in value management and financial thinking • Maintain a network of value and benefits champions across initiatives What are we looking for? We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement Requirements: • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields. • 2+ years of experience in product management, management consulting, finance, project management or as a Chief of Staff. • 3+ years experience with data and analytics, financial management, digital transformation, or technology delivery. • 3+ years with JIRA, Confluence, and other agile project management tools. • 2+ years experience in financial services or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred. Core Competencies: • Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and technical teams. • Advanced MS365 Skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) #LI-Hybvrid Pay Range: $119,158-$198,597/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
