About DischargED.ai DischargED.ai is a healthcare technology platform focused on post-discharge patient monitoring and risk detection, helping hospitals reduce readmissions and improve outcomes. We are building a virtual telemetry layer that combines real-time data, predictive analytics, and clinician-facing tools to extend care beyond hospital walls. The Opportunity This is not a narrow internship. You will work across frontend, backend, and data/AI systems—helping build a real platform used by clinicians and patients. This role is ideal for someone who wants to: • Build full-stack applications • Work with real-world data • Explore AI/ML in production environments What You’ll Work On • Build and enhance web applications and clinician dashboards • Develop and integrate REST APIs • Support AWS backend services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) • Work on data pipelines and system integrations • Assist in analyzing patient data and health signals • Contribute to early-stage predictive models and AI-driven features • Help design end-to-end workflows across mobile, web, and backend systems Technologies You’ll Be Exposed To • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React is a plus) • Backend: Node.js / Python, REST APIs • Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito) • Data/AI: Python, basic ML frameworks, time-series data What We’re Looking For • Interest in full-stack development and/or AI/ML • Experience with at least one of the following: • Web development (JavaScript, React) • Backend/API development • Python/data analysis • Curiosity about how systems and data connect end-to-end • Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership mentality • Bonus: Projects involving dashboards, APIs, or data analysis What You’ll Gain • Experience building a real HealthTech SaaS platform • Exposure to clinical workflows and healthcare systems • Hands-on work across frontend, backend, cloud, and data • Direct mentorship from founder and engineering team • Opportunity to grow into a full-time engineering role Growth & Upside Opportunity We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, not just complete an internship.
