Who we're looking for: We're hiring an AI video expert to create dance-video templates and ads for our mobile app — and to keep a steady stream of fresh content flowing every week. You'll be the person who knows the AI video models inside out, produces polished content fast, and figures it out when things break. If you live and breathe AI video and motion control, this is for you. Type: Part-time contract to start, with a clear path to consistent, long-term full-time work for the right person Compensation: Competitive, based on experience (we cover all tool/app subscriptions you need to do the work and research) What we do: We make a mobile app in the AI dance-video space — think apps like DanceAI (Dance AI – AI Dance Video Maker: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dance-ai-ai-dance-video-maker/id6758041184). That's the category and the quality bar we're competing in. Here's how the app works: a user uploads a photo of themselves, picks a template (a dance "effect"), and our system generates a video of them performing that dance. Each template is powered by AI video models using motion control — a reference video supplies the dance motion, and the user's photo supplies their identity. To keep the app fresh and growing, we need someone who can produce new, high-quality templates every single week — and turn those outputs into scroll-stopping ads. This is a long-term gig with serious room to grow (more on that below). The role: You'll own two output streams: 1. Dance video templates (~10 per week) For each template you'll produce a complete package: A brand-new reference image that captures the feeling of a trending theme — emulated, never copied (unique person, unique outfit, unique environment, same vibe). A finished preview video (the example clip users see in-app before they try the effect). A dev handoff: the production-ready prompt + model settings the engineering team plugs in to make the template live. 2. AI ads Take template outputs and turn them into high-performing, UGC-style ads. We benchmark against the best in our category (see DanceAI's Meta Ad Library: https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/?active_status=active&ad_type=all&country=ALL&media_type=all&search_type=page&view_all_page_id=894766057064538). You study what's working, then produce ads that emulate that quality and energy with our content. Who you are You're an expert in AI video — not a beginner learning on the job. Specifically: You know the leading AI video models inside out — Kling, Veo / Sora-class models, and others — and you know their strengths, quirks, and failure modes. You're fluent with motion control / video-to-video workflows (we currently run Kling motion-control via Fal, e.g. fal-ai/kling-video/v3/pro/motion-control etc etc). You're an excellent AI image generator — you can produce a unique, polished reference image that nails a specific look and feeling. You're a strong prompt engineer for video. When a prompt doesn't work — the motion drifts, the identity breaks, limbs warp, the scene changes — you can diagnose it and fix it yourself. This is the single most important skill. You have an eye for what makes short-form content and ads actually perform. We have a working process today, but we're not the experts — you are. If you have a better workflow (or develop one), we want it. We're hiring judgment and craft, not button-pushing. How it works (and where it's going) At the start, I'll hand you the themes we want to do, along with what you need for each template — an example to emulate and a motion reference. Over time, you'd take that over: you source the themes yourself, produce the templates and ads, and ship on your own with minimal direction. I'll also walk you through my current workflow in detail so you understand exactly what we're producing. But to be clear — this is just my process, and I'm not the expert; you are. I fully expect yours to be more efficient and better than mine. That's the whole point of hiring an expert: take what's useful from how we do it now, then improve it (or replace it) with your own. The growth path is real, and big: We'll begin with a few test runs to make sure we're aligned, then ramp to ~5 templates per week, then ~10 per week, and from there it can grow much more. Ads scale alongside it and can grow into the hundreds as we push distribution. We also run other apps in our portfolio (beyond the dance app) that will need ad production too — so there's ongoing, expanding work for the right person across the whole portfolio. In short: this starts part-time, but for someone who delivers, it becomes a consistent, long-term, full-time-level role with steadily increasing volume. How to apply Send: A short note on your AI video experience — which models and motion-control workflows you've worked with. Examples of AI video and/or AI image work you've produced (links or reel). A quick take on how you'd approach diagnosing a motion-control output where the subject's identity breaks or the motion doesn't transfer cleanly. Shortlisted candidates will be given a real, paid-style test: reproduce one of our templates end to end (reference image → preview video → dev prompt) so we can see how you actually work. To be considered, reply with DANCE as the first word in your reply.
