To learn more: www.sony.com/en . POSITION SUMMARY Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a full-time AI Adoption intern for Sony’s Global Security Incident Response Team (GSIRT) . Your role will be on the Strategy team, but you will be a collaborator across all GSIRT’s global teams. The CISD summer internship program is designed to provide skills, knowledge, and hands-on work experience in the information security and privacy industry, supporting the personal growth of our interns as well as Sony business results. This 12‑week summer internship runs from June through August and offers flexibility to work either hybrid or fully remote. RESPONSIBILITIES : • Update internal-facing team sites and migrate content from legacy sites • Support the adoption of AI, including tools, training, and change management - across the GSIRT team . • Collaborate across GSIRT’s functions from incident response, intelligence, to security architecture to program managers in support of the design and implementation of AI solutions to advance Sony’s information security . • Honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above. QUALIFICATIONS : • C urrent student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, applied mathematics, or equivalent. • Experience or coursework in generative Artificial Intelligence. • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA. Preferred qualifications: • Problem solving and critical thinking skills • Ability to collaborate constructively with a global workforce • Academic or professional experience identifying skills, identifying training and skills required for information security functions to develop expertise in AI. • Familiarity with O 365, Jira , and Splunk. The hourly rate for this internship depends on education level: $24.00 per hour for undergraduate candidates and $25.00–$27.00 per hour for graduate candidates.
