We are hiring an instructor for our Applied AI Workflows and Agents course.
This course combines practical AI prompt engineering with AI agents and workflow automation, helping learners build strong prompting skills while also learning how to create useful AI-powered workflows and automations. We are looking for an instructor who can confidently teach across both areas and guide learners through hands-on, real-world applications of AI.
The cohort we are hiring for starts on April 29th, runs from 7:00–8:00 PM EST on Wednesday Nights, and concludes on July 15th.
What You’ll Do
- Host one live session per week for a 12-week cohort
Teach a blended curriculum covering:
- prompt engineering fundamentals and applied prompting strategies
- AI workflows and automation concepts
- AI agents and agent-based use cases
- practical business applications of AI tools
- Facilitate hands-on live exercises and activities
- Provide weekly, actionable feedback on learner assignments
- Engage with learners in Discord by answering questions and encouraging participation between sessions
- Support learners as they build toward a final capstone project
- Model Upright’s teaching approach through practical application, iteration, and learner-centered support
Skills We’re Looking For
- Strong teaching, facilitation, mentoring, or training experience is highly important for this role
- Professional experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar LLMs in a work environment
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and how prompt structure, context, refinement, and iteration impact outputs
- Direct experience building or using AI-powered workflows, automations, or agents in practical settings
- Experience with tools such as Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or similar platforms
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Comfort providing thoughtful, constructive feedback to adult learners
- Reliability, professionalism, and responsiveness
What Will Make a Candidate Stand Out?
A strong portfolio showing both:
- Prompt engineering work
- AI agents/workflow automation work
- Experience applying AI in business settings such as operations, marketing, consulting, product, analytics, RevOps, HR, or entrepreneurship
- Prior experience teaching AI, workforce training, or project-based learning
- Experience supporting learners in asynchronous spaces such as Discord or Slack
Commitment & Compensation
Duration: 12 weeks (12 live sessions)
Compensation: $1,200 per cohort
Location: Remote
Format: Live online instruction with asynchronous learner support between sessions
