As a Business Configuration Analyst, you will be hands-on with AI and platform configuration, working within FAST and cloud-based AI tools like AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and similar enterprise AI systems. You'll serve as both a technical implementer and a customer advocate, translating business needs into configured solutions while gathering insights that shape our AI product evolution.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• FAST Platform Configuration: Configure FAST's unique tool sets to implement AI-powered insurance components including policy administration, new business processing, and distribution management workflows. Leverage FAST's SOA component library to solve complex business problems with AI enhancements.
• AI Solution Configuration: Independently configure AI solutions within FAST and cloud-based AI platforms (AWS Bedrock or similar), requiring minimal supervision and demonstrating strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Technical Implementation: Design, test, and troubleshoot AI configurations including prompt engineering, model selection, integration parameters, and performance optimization. Develop and maintain configuration documentation and best practices.
• Customer Engagement: Serve as a technical point of contact for customers implementing AI features. Gather feedback, monitor usage patterns, and translate customer needs into configuration improvements and product recommendations.
• Platform Expertise: Stay current with AI platform capabilities, emerging tools, and industry best practices. Evaluate new features and configuration options that could benefit our customers.
• Data Analysis & Optimization: Monitor AI solution performance and customer engagement metrics. Analyze usage patterns, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend enhancements based on data-driven insights.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, engineers, and customer teams to ensure alignment on AI implementations. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to product backlog refinement.
• Customer Enablement: Present AI capabilities to customers, demonstrate configuration options, and explain technical concepts in accessible business terms. Support demos and implementation conversations as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with AI technologies, machine learning, or advanced analytics platforms strongly preferred
• Experience configuring and implementing software solutions independently
• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or similar) strongly preferred
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with software troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to explain technical concepts in business terms
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and customer focus
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence) and insurance industry a plus
