AI Security Architect (AWS / GenAI)

Salary: Up to a 140k base plus a 20% bonus.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to support clientfacing consulting engagements, leading the design and delivery of secure, enterprisegrade AI and GenAI solutions on AWS. This role is handson and deliveryoriented, requiring deep expertise in cloud security architecture, AI/ML security risks, and secure deployment of agentbased AI solutions.
You will work closely with engineering, data science, and client stakeholders to embed security across the AI lifecycle while serving as a trusted technical authority in customer environments.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement secure architectures for AI/ML and GenAI solutions on AWS.
• Lead AI/MLspecific threat modeling, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies (e.g., data poisoning, adversarial attacks, model evasion, privacy risks).
• Provide architectural guidance and secure integration for AWS Bedrock and agentbased AI solutions (e.g., AgentCore).
• Define and enforce security standards, policies, and best practices across AI development and deployment.
• Embed security into MLOps / DevSecOps pipelines, including identity, access control, data protection, and model governance.
• Evaluate and recommend AI security tooling and controls for enterprise environments.
• Support and lead response efforts for AIrelated security incidents.
• Engage directly with client technical teams, providing guidance, reviews, and delivery leadership.
• Stay current with emerging AI security threats, cloud security capabilities, and regulatory considerations.
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience designing and delivering AWS cloud security architectures in enterprise or consulting environments.
• Handson experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, etc.).
• Practical knowledge of AI/ML security concepts, including adversarial attacks, data integrity, privacy, and model governance.
• Experience securing ML pipelines, data platforms, and AI workloads.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to operate in clientfacing, deliveryfocused roles.
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Handson implementation experience with AWS Bedrock and/or agentbased AI architectures.
• Experience securing GenAI or LLMbased systems in production.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CISM).
• Background in consulting, systems integration, or professional services delivery.
