Project Manager, AI Training Program

About the Role
GAI Insights is supporting a large U.S. federal agency in deploying an enterprise-wide AI training program. This includes AI Champions training, multi-vendor learning coordination, and agency-wide adoption initiatives. We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to serve as the operational hub for this engagement.
This is a part-time consulting role requiring 15-20 hours per week, with 1-2 scheduled calls during standard business hours.
Responsibilities

Attend daily stand-up meetings and maintain a live running agenda and task log
Coordinate across CIO, IT, Learning and Development, HR, and AI Champions to align training activities and timelines
Manage the master training schedule across multiple vendors and stakeholders
Track and distribute survey and assessment activities tied to training milestones
Support documentation of business case and ROI for the AI training program
Serve as the central point of coordination for AI Champions onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing engagement
Maintain clear and timely communication with GAI Insights leadership and client stakeholders
Requirements

3+ years of project management experience, preferably in government or regulated environments
Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder programs with competing priorities
Familiarity with AI productivity tools including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and xAI
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through on task management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Located in Eastern or Central Time Zone
Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification or equivalent project management training
Experience in Learning and Development, workforce training, or change management
Prior work with AI adoption, digital transformation, or emerging technology rollouts
